Ways to Show a Number
There are various ways to show a number. They are:
1. Standard Form: 1, 500, 6792
2. Expanded Form: In terms of the place value of each digit in that number as- 942 = 900 + 40 + 2, 706 = 700+6
3. Sentence Form: 185 = One hundred eighty five; 907 = Nine hundred seven.
4. Money terms: Representing numbers in terms of currency (as per requirement). For example: Rs. 5/-, Rs. 1000/-, $ 99, etc.
